Just last month, we here at DARCARS Toyota Silver Spring told you all about the award-winning news concerning our eco-friendly new and used cars. It was more than enough reason to celebrate and it was another green notch in the belt of our favorite automaker. And now that the winners have been announced for the National Mayor's Challenge for Water Conservation, the eco-friendly accolades just keep on coming.

Not to say that we don't adore the scenic views of Silver Spring, MD and the big city lights of Washington D.C here at DARCARS Toyota Silver Spring, but some days it's hard not to be jealous of our friends out in California. What can we say, after the never-ending winter we just went through, a never-ending spring sounds more enticing than ever. Not only that, but now those Californians have the one-up on us in the way of our new and used cars.

Take it from us here at DARCARS Toyota Silver Spring, folks: getting through to your kids can seem near-impossible some days. Yeah, it comes with the territory and it's not like we were any different at their age, but that doesn't make communication any less important. As we've come to find, the trick to getting through is to get on their level and try to put yourself in their shoes.  It isn't always easy, but when it comes to things like the importance of safe driving, you'll be awfully glad you tried.

Not for nothing, folks, but if you aren't caught up with Breaking Bad yet, you don't know what you're missing out on. But lucky for us, the stars have aligned, and thanks to one royally fortunate dealership all the way out in New Mexico, Breaking Bad's on the agenda for today.

Unless we're talking about Fast & Furious 6, there aren't a whole lot of times where we can draw connections between the film and auto industries. But in a world where it seems like every other movie that comes out is a remake or a reboot, we here at DARCARS Toyota Silver Spring think the connection between Hollywood and our new and used cars is greater now than ever before.

If there's one thing America loves, it's new and used cars from Toyota. If there's two things America loves, it's got to be good old football. And if there's three things America loves, well of course it's The Big Bang Theory.
