2023 Crown Trim Levels
For 2023, the Crown has three trim levels: XLE, Limited, and Platinum. Under the hood, the Crown has a standard 2.5-liter inline 4-cylinder engine with electric motors. The Crown and the standard hybrid powertrain is an electronically controlled continuously variable transmission with a powerful horsepower system. All-wheel drive is standard across the lineup.
1. XLE
The XLE is the base model, but the vehicle’s standard features inside are nothing short of stellar. A panoramic fixed-glass roof with power sunshade and premium 11-speaker JBL audio with subwoofer and amplifier round out the Crown Limited trim.
3. Platinum
Last but certainly not least, the Crown Platinum trim level includes all the convenience features of the Limited while boosting the power under the hood. The Platinum trim includes Toyota’s new “Hybrid MAX” setup, which pairs a turbocharged 2.4-liter inline 4-cylinder engine with an electric motor on the rear axle for a combined 340 horsepower. Add in a direct shift-6AT 6-speed automatic transmission, and the Platinum will take you from zero to 60 in 5.7 seconds.
